Day 1: Arrival - AucklandMeet and greet on arrival and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day free. Please check on surcharge if paxs require a 2 hour panoramic tour along with the transfer.Day 2: Auckland - Waitomo - Rotorua (B)Pickup by Great Sights coach and the rich Waikato Farmland for Waitomo. Enjoy a guided tour of the Waitomo Caves and a short boat ride through the famous Glow-Worm grotto. See twinkling lightsemitting from the ceiling like stars in a dark night. Journey up bush clad Mamaku Range to arrive at the thermal resort of Rotorua.Day 3: Rotorua (B)Join Great Sights coach for morning tour of Rotorua’s top attractions – Rainbow Spring to see wildlife and trout swimming in crystal clear water, enjoy an entertaining farm show at Agrodome highlighting sheep farming industry with sheep shearing demonstration. At Te Puia Thermal Reserve, you will see boiling mud pools ang the mighty Pohutu geysers. Be enthralled by the Maori culture of wood carving, flax weaving demonstration and the replicas of the Maori buildings here. Other sights in Rotorua includes the lakeside boulevard and the iconic Government Gardens. Afternoon free.Day 4: Rotorua - Wellington (B)Join Newmans’ coach for journey to Taupo and along the shore of the huge lake to spectacular Tongariro National Park comprising of massive active volcanoes and site of North Island’s ski fields from the barren land of this plateau, you descend to Palmerston North to the “Capital City“. Arrive Wellington by early evening. Meet and greet on arrival and transfer to your hotel.Day 5: Wellington - Picton - Christchurch (B)Morning transfer to the ferry terminal to board the Inter- Islander ferryto picton.The 3 hour cruise crosses Cook Straits separating the 2 islands and along the serene and picturesque Queen Charlotte Sound.The sparkling waters and lush forest is A breathtaking introduction to the South Island Connect the Tranz Coastal train across famed Marlborough wine fields and along the narrow strip of land flanked by the Pacific Ocean and the Kaikoura ranges which plunges into its water . Lush beauty of farmlands followed before arriving into Christchurch in the evening.Day 6: Christchurch - Glaciers (B)Transfer to the train station and board the famed Tranz Alpine train a cross the Alps to Greymouth. Snake a cross rich farmland and along the shore of the mighty snow fed Waimakariri River, you climb slowly into the spine of the Southern Alps. Cross numerous viaducts high across river ravines to Arthur’s Pass town ship. Plunge into Otira Tunnel to emerge on the western side of the mountains. Pass small farming hamlets and beautiful Lake Brunner to arrive at Greymouth. Board the Intercity coach and continue to glacier town ship arriving late afternoon.Day 7: Glacier - Queenstown (B)Wake up the sound of bird chips and refreshing quiet atmosphere of this town ship. Marvel at the massive bush clad, mountain rising steeply just beyond the highway. Board Newmans’ coach and travel along the narrow strip of land border by the Tasman seaand high mountains to Haast. Follow the Haast River up stream to re-cross the alpine range at Haast Pass. Then along the shores of Lakes Wanaka and Hawea, you soon reach Wanaka and Queenstown. A very scenic journey indeed.Day 8: Milford Sound Day Excursion (B)Day Excursion by Great Sights coach to scenic Milford Sound. Follow the Lake Wakatiputo Lumsden and then onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter Fiord land National Park along Eglington Valley and travel through Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sounds. This is reputed as the prettist drive in the country with amazing Mountain scenery all the way. Enjoy the cruise on the spectacular world famous fiords dominated by Mitre Peak and Bowen Falls. Retrace the journey back to Queenstown.Day 9: Queenstown (B)Enjoy a free day in Queens town. Apart from beautiful scenery surrounding the resort ,this is also the capital of adventure tourism. Why not try thrilling jet–boating or heart-stopping bungy jump ? A gondola ride up Bob’s Peak for panoramic view couple with a luge ride is recommended. Or simply relax and enjoy the scene !!Day 10: Queenstown - Mt Cook - Christchurch (B)Pickup by Great Sights coach and return to Christchurch via Mt Cook National Park travel through the Central Otago region to Lake Pukaki and Mount Cook National Park Village. Set at the foot hill of the alps, you have a close up view of Mt Cook- the highest mountain in the country. Descend the mountains and re-cross the Canterbury Plains to arrive in Christchurch in the evening.Day 11: Christchurch - Departure ( B )Pickup and transfer to the airport by shuttle service. Please check if paxs require an extension stay in Christchurch with a city tour.
